Spiced Oyster Crackers

My mom, Sharon, has been making this for years as a “pick-up snack.” Always a hit and easy to make. (Nov 2010) 

2 1/2 tsp basil
2 1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 cups veg oil
2 lbs oyster crackers
1 tsp lemon pepper
3 (1oz) envelopes dry ranch dressing mix  

Mix all ingredients together and stir until absorbed ( 1/2 hour or so).
